Gerard Best is a Development Journalist, award-winning writer and aspiring documentary director, with a passion for centring the voices of vulnerable and underserved communities through compelling stories of human empowerment and social justice.
A recipient of multiple academic scholarships and professional fellowships, he holds postgraduate qualifications in Development Journalism for Non-Aligned Territories (PG Dip.) at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi, and in Communications Studies (M.A.) at The University of the West Indies, Saint Augustine.
